Steps to Enrollment
If you are interested in the current school year please contact one of our membership chairs below as there may be space available.
If you have not yet toured our school please visit the tour page to schedule or join an upcoming tour.
Registration deadlines are detailed in Step 2.
Applications are submitted online by following the link on the right. There is a non-refundable $55 application fee per application.
Our classes are filled using a lottery system with Current families getting priority, followed by Alumni and UMC church members, and then New families.
The deadlines for applications for the 2019/2020 school year are as follows:
Current Families due by February 1st 2019
Alumni/Church members due by February 15th 2019
New Families due by March 1st 2019
– After the March 1st deadline, classes will be filled on a first come first served basis.
– Membership chairs will maintain waitlists for each class and notify you if space becomes available.
We will notify you via email whether your child has been accepted in a class. If you receive an acceptance letter via email, this is a commitment by UMC Cooperative Nursery School that your child has a place in that class. To secure your child’s place in the class a non-refundable payment equal to one months tuition will need to be paid within 7 days of notification.
Deadlines for the 2019/2020 school year:
Current Families, notified by February 8th 2019, deposit due February 15th 2019
Alumni/Church Families, notified by February 22nd 2019, deposit due March 1st 2019
New Families, notified by March 8th 2019, deposit due March 15th 2019.
We will do our best to accommodate Co-op status requests on a first come first serve basis, based on the needs of the classroom and teachers. We cannot guarantee your first choice co-op status but we will let you know as soon possible if there are any conflicts there.
We will send you a packet of enrollment forms to be completed 1 month after you are notified of your spot. We must receive this application fully completed on the date requested to ensure your place, with immunization records, physician reports, etc. Please begin that process as soon as you receive your forms to ensure timely completion.
